We can’t let Dickov down — Morais
Date published: 29 March 2011
ATHLETIC winger Filipe Morais said that despite not yet picking up their money for March, the influence of manager Paul Dickov has played a role in ensuring the squad continues to give its all on the field.
“It is hard for the staff now as well,” Morais said. “The last time they got paid (on time) and we didn’t.
“We just have to get on with it. It is frustrating as the boys have got things to pay for.
“But we are a great bunch and would never kick up a fuss.
“As you could see from the game, we always give 100-per-cent and that is down to the manager. He is the kind of guy you would run through brick walls for.
“It is frustrating when the club is not paying you, but we get on with it.
“When you have a manager who does everything he can for you, you can’t go out on the pitch and let him down. We have a duty to him. “
