Management opposition

ATHLETIC fans have the chance to line up against the management team in an upcoming game at Boundary Park.

Manager Paul Dickov, his assistant Gerry Taggart and reserves boss Lee Duxbury are all playing for the backroom staff side in the challenge match on Saturday, May 14.

Shinpads will be a necessity for those fans who fancy taking on that trio, plus goalkeeping coach Paul Gerrard, youth team supremo Tony Philliskirk... and chairman Simon Corney.

Places in the fans' team are up for grabs with the bidding starting at £125 per person. Substitute spots can be had for £75.
