Cedric Evina - nobbled.
LUKE Ayling's prediction on Twitter proved entirely accurate at the weekend.
The Yeovil defender had joked on the social network that he would be out to nobble his good mate Cedric Evina (pictured) when Athletic came to visit Huish Park.
"Game day!" wrote Ayling, who signed professional forms for Arsenal a month earlier than academy team-mate Evina in the summer of 2009.
"Cannot wait to see my close mate (Evina). But I will be going out there to kick you!"
Friendships often disappear in football for 90-odd minutes when the white line is crossed — but Evina himself was surprised at the enthusiastic Ayling's robust approach, which saw him receive a red card for two late tackles on his ex-team-mate at the Emirates Stadium.
"Good game plan," Evina wrote afterwards. "Kick Ceddy out of the game, worked well!"
