SUPPORTERS young and old flocked through the Boundary Park gates to witness Athletic’s new-look squad being put through its paces.

The open day was a success as fans, who watched from the main stand as manager Paul Dickov took charge of a training session, claimed autographs and picture opportunities with their heroes.

Athletic start their new npower League One campaign with a home match against Sheffield United on Saturday (3pm).
