LUCA Scapuzzi’s sizzler against Crewe has been nominated for an ‘Ultimate Finish award’.

The on-loan Italian winger’s excellent strike in the 3-1 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over Crewe helped Athletic reach the Northern Area semi-finals of the competition, where they will now face Bradford City next Tuesday (7.45pm kick-off).

Fans can watch exclusive footage of the goal, along with four other shortlisted finishes, on the official Johnstone’s Paint Trophy website, before casting their vote.

The best goal will be announced on the site after the closing date of Monday, December 5.
