Double boost for Latics
Date published: 23 March 2012
LATICS have received a double boost before tomorrow's home game with AFC Bournemouth with Robbie Simpson declared fit to play a part and Sunderland forward Oumane Tounkara signed on loan for the rest of the season.
Simpson has been out for six weeks with a broken toe but is back in consideration to face The Cherries.
So too is Tounkara, the strong-running 21-year-old who spent last season on loan at Boundary Park, scoring seven times in 46 outings.
