James Tarkowski: ready to play
Tarkowski and Tounkara poised to play as Latics eye top half
ATHLETIC appear set to make two changes to the team tonight as they bid for a victory which would lift the team into the top half of the table for the first time in four months.
Depending on other results this evening, the prize on offer for beating Leyton Orient at Boundary Park (7.45pm kick-off) could even consist of a place in the top 10 — exactly where Dickov is aiming to be by the end of the season.
But to claim a third successive league win for the first time since November, 2010, Athletic may have to do without Saturday’s top performer, Reece Brown, who hurt his ankle against Bournemouth.
Should Brown not make it, James Tarkowski will step in alongside Jean-Yves Mvoto.
Filipe Morais remains sidelined with severe concussion, while Keanu Marsh-Brown is available once again.
Oumare Tounkara could get his first start since rejoining the club on loan from Sunderland.
With Robbie Simpson also on his way back to full fitness, Dickov is able to select from a number of attacking permutations.
