Reserves run-out a success for Furman

DEAN Furman believes he is finally over his injury “nightmare” and hopes to be involved in Athletic’s game at Notts County.
The captain returned to action at Chapel Road yesterday, playing an hour in a goalless draw for the reserves against Tranmere while being watched by his manager Paul Dickov.
Suffering no ill-effects, Furman said it felt good to finally be back on a football field again after a two-and-a-half month absence with a knee injury.
