HARRY BUNN . . . has no problem with an unfamilar role

HARRY Bunn is relaxed about forging his own pathway in the game.

The 19-year-old former Saddleworth School pupil, son of Athletic six-shooting legend Frank, has so far had a brief to occupy a role on the left side of midfield during his four-match loan spell at Boundary Park.

While admitting he sees his future as a front man, Bunn is happy to lend a hand wherever manager Paul Dickov requires.

"I think any player wants to play for their home-town team and I am no different," he said. "It is a great opportunity for me at a young age.

Bunn faces stiff competition for his favoured striking spot.

Oumare Tounkara is the latest arrival on the scene and with Robbie Simpson fit again and Keanu Marsh-Brown back after suspension, there is a group of four players looking to usurp the current forward pairing of Reuben Reid and Shefki Kuqi.
