We won’t fear Addicks – boss
Date published: 06 April 2012
ATHLETIC manager Paul Dickov has paid tribute to the work put in by his opposite number tomorrow.
Charlton manager Chris Powell brings his Addicks team to Boundary Park with a six-point lead at the top of npower League One.
But after picking up a well-earned point in a 1-1 draw at The Valley the last time the sides met, Dickov is certainly not running scared of his old Leicester team-mate.
"Powelly has done a fantastic job," said Dickov. "When he took over last year, it wasn't his squad.
"He has had money to spend and he has done that really, really well. He has built a squad where he can chop and change.
"It is all well and good having money, but you need to sign the right players and he has done that.
“Quite rightly, they are top of the league and looking like they are going to be champions.
"But that doesn't stop me from thinking we can beat them."
