Alex Cisak: highly regarded
RUMOURS of interest in Athletic goalkeeper Alex Cisak have come as no surprise to his manager.
The Tasmanian may have missed out on honours at the player-of-the-season awards, but he is arguably the club's most valuable current asset.
The 22 year old has excelled this season: scouts from higher divisions have watched his progress closely.
"Alex is one of the best young 'keepers in the division, if not the Football League at the moment," Dickov said, of a player who is making a good recovery from a shoulder injury.
"We want to keep him and Alex wants to stay. If there are people watching him and they want to put in an offer, they better make sure it is the right one.”
Another player Dickov hopes to have on board next season is centre-back Reece Brown.
