BRADLEY DIALLO: offered new deal.
Latics drawing up lists of players they’ll keep
ATHLETIC hope to keep NINE players out of contract this summer — while letting another seven leave.
Kieran Lee, Robbie Simpson, Filipe Morais and James Wesolowski head the list as key men manager Paul Dickov hopes to build his side around next term.
Deals are being drawn up this week .
Chris Taylor will also be given the chance to stay, though the indication is the winger will be heading into the Championship, possibly with Burnley.
Dean Bouzanis and Kirk Millar have the chance to remain, Youssouf Mchangama will be offered his first permanent deal and Bradley Diallo will also stay as the club exercises up their option on the left-back.
“Towards the end of this week and early next week, we will be offering the contracts out and we will be looking for answers fairly soon,” said Dickov, who will wait no longer than two weeks between firms deal being offered and final decisions being made.
Out of the exit door are first-team men Keanu Marsh-Brown and Reuben Reid, Josh Parker and long-term injury victim Phil McGrath. Ryan Brooke, DJ Bembo and Matt Carr are also on their way.
