Teenager Millar signs new deal

KIRK Millar is to stay with Athletic for another season after signing a new 12-month contract.
The 19-year-old winger and Northern Ireland under-21 international has spent the last three years at Boundary Park after arriving from home club Linfield and survived the cull at the end of last term.
Though he only made two starts in 2011-12 — in the final two games of the campaign — manager Paul Dickov was impressed enough with the hard-working teenager to hand him a new contract.
