Matt Derbyshire: keeps defenders on their toes
MATT Derbyshire made it three goals in five games with a typically efficient close-range strike at Crewe.
But it was the on-loan Forest man’s graft, rather than simply his ability to be in the right place at the right time, which made a major contribution to both the visitors’ goals, according to the manager.
“Their centre-backs were on their knees after about 60 minutes,” said manager Paul Dickov, who is trying to keep Derbyshire on for the season.
“Matt was a constant threat in behind and his movement was fantastic.”
