Dickov denies rumours

PAUL Dickov has denied media rumours that Blackburn Rovers are interested in naming him as their new manager.

“It’s the first I have heard of it,” said the Athletic boss. “Maybe they have put two and two together and got five as I was at Brockhall, I don’t know.”

Dickov was at the championship club’s training complex to watch their reserves take on Athletic on Wednesday afternoon.
