Kirk Millar: great loan form
KIRK Millar and David Mellor are already making a splash in Chorley colours.
The pair left Boundary Park on loan last week to get some first-team action.
In their first outing, a 4-1 home defeat by Fylde, Millar was the outstanding Chorley player on show.
In the 5-1 home defeat of Frickley on Saturday, Mellor teed up two goals from free-kicks and Millar also created one in an emphatic performance.
Flitcroft, a former Blackburn team-mate of Athletic boss Paul Dickov, has been impressed by the duo.
"He said the two boys have been great for him," Dickov said. "It is great for both of them. They would have been in their tracksuits watching, but instead they are playing, and you can't beat being involved at 3pm on a Saturday."
