It’s a thrill, being sent to Coventry

IT was disappointing to lose against a strong Brentford side on Saturday, but we were a little unlucky.
I believe we just shaded the first half, but they counter attacked very well and with their first chance they made it 1-0.
After that we played OK without really opening them up and though in the second half we tried to be more creative, they proved to be a well-organised side who stopped us from playing.
I thought I was one of our main threats in the first half. I had quite a bit of the ball and found myself in space, but in the second they had two men on me all the time and we didn’t enjoy as much possession.
Saturday is a big day for me: I return to Coventry for the first time since I left there in 2009.
My full debut for Coventry was in our 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford in a Carling Cup match and I have a lot of happy memories.
I have visited the club and remain friends with some of the players - but I have no doubt it will be a tough match game there this weekend.
We need points if we are to move away from the relegation places - and we will be doing our best.
