Key clash for Dean
Date published: 25 January 2013
AS ATHLETIC aim to take down Liverpool, regular captain Dean Furman will be in action in a decisive game of his own.
South Africa’s man of the match in the 2-0 African Cup of Nations win over Angola is certain to keep his place in the side as Bafana take on Morocco in the final game in Group ‘A’ in Durban on Sunday (5pm kick off).
A draw will be enough to send Furman and his team through to the quarter-finals of the competition, resulting in a last-eight tie in either Durban or Port Elizabeth on Saturday, February 2.
