Murray returns to the Latics fold
Date published: 29 January 2013
PAUL Murray is back at Boundary Park.
The experienced 36 year old, released last week by Hartlepool, has signed to the end of the season.
Murray played 105 times for Athletic in three year from 2001 and will bring experience to the midfield as well as providing cover for injured Youssouf Mchangama.
He started with home-town club Carlisle moving to QPR for £300,000 in 1996, before a short time at Southampton before Boundary Park.
Murray, who has also played for Beira Mar, Gretna and Shrewsbury, has spent the last three seasons at Hartlepool and was its player of the year in 2011-12.
