THOUGH they are still hopeful of a play-offs chance at the end of the season, the current woes of MK Dons are familiar to Athletic.
Karl Robinson’s side is terrific in knock-out action — but not so much in the league.
And just as with Athletic, discipline has proven an issue. Only Notts County (seven) has had more players sent off than Athletic and the Dons (six).
The visitors to Boundary Park this weekend have only picked up four points from their last six encounters in npower League One — despite a surge that brought seven wins in nine games before Christmas and an enviable FA Cup record.
