Johnson’s upbeat view over first-round draw

ATHLETIC manager Lee Johnson has shone a positive light over the club’s difficult pairing with Wolves in the first round of the FA Cup.
Five days after a 2-0 defeat at Molineux, the draw pits Kenny Jackett’s Sky Bet League One promotion favourites with Athletic once again. But this time the game is at Boundary Park.
There could also be the added spark of live TV coverage, with Wolves the biggest club in the competition at this stage. A decision is expected in the next couple of days.
“I see it positively,” Johnson said. “It is a home game and a big game. We will have a go at them, on our own ground under home conditions.
“I would rather this sort of tie than going away to a non-league team, for example.
“We know a lot about Wolves and it is effectively another League One match for us.”
