Taylor: all will come good for Latics

CHRIS Taylor has backed Athletic to finish nearer the top than the bottom of the league this season.
The Blackburn Rovers winger watched his home-town club in the recent 1-1 home draw with division leaders Leyton Orient. And he believes results haven’t matched performances.
Taylor (26) also had kind words for his former team mate James Tarkowski.
“I think Latics are going to do really well this season. I go to the matches as much as I can and I have been nothing but impressed by the team so far.
“As for Tarky, I’m not surprised he is doing so well. All he has to do is keep his head down and focus on football, and the sky’s the limit for him.
“The fans are clearly enjoying the football that they are watching and Oldham are proof that you don’t always get the results you deserve. I don't see any reason why Latics cannot finish in the top half of the table.”
