A national newspaper says Liverpool are prepared to offer around £2m and a player to get their hands on star Latics defender James Tarkowski.
The Chronicle reported on Friday that the five-time European champions were tracking the 21 year old
Up to 14 Premier League and Championship clubs are closely monitoring the progress of Tarkowski, whose current Athletic contract expires in the summer of 2015.
