FORMER Athletic star Chris Taylor will be roaring on Lee Johnson’s men as they head into battle at Anfield on Sunday.
A self-confessed Latics fanatic, Taylor (27) is now playing at Championship big guns Blackburn Rovers.
He said: “It’s another unbelievable draw for Latics and I know the players are looking forward to it, big time.
“I still speak to a few of them — Tarky, Kirk Millar and some of the younger lads — so I know exactly how exciting playing at Anfield will be for them. You never know, they could even pull off a massive shock again.
“It just needs Liverpool to have an off-day and a bit of luck to go Latics’ way, and who knows what might happen?
“I’m not sure whether I’m actually going to the game yet, but wherever I am I’ll be rooting and cheering for them.
“I know from playing there myself two years ago just how special an occasion it’s going to be.”
