A BIG job rests on the small frame of John Paul Kissock if he is to break into Athletic’s regular match-day squad.
With James Tarkowski expected to be confirmed back at Boundary Park, Athletic will have SIX loan players in the squad.
Football League regulations permit a maximum of five in any one match.
That means while manager Lee Johnson rates Kissock highly enough to have brought him to Oldham, the Macclesfield maestro will need to push his way past one of the other five.
“You have got Mark Oxley, James Tarkowski, David Worrall, Gary Harkins and Jon Stead already, and now also Kissock,” said Johnson.
“It might be his appearances may be restricted due to that loan rule.”
