Average gate up on last season

ATHLETIC are set to better last season’s average attendance at Boundary Park.
Early-season optimism boosted numbers and the average home crowd stands at 4,322 — up by nearly 200 on last year.
The highest attendance this season was against Bradford City, when 7,180 fans came through the turnstiles.
The lowest crowd to date was the Tuesday night game against MK Dons, which dipped to 2,792.
Athletic are currently 19th in terms of average division attendance. The highest is Wolves (20,001) and the lowest Coventry (2,251).
