Connor claims it

WHAT A FEELING . . . Connor Brown celebrates the winning goal he created, along with his skipper. Korey Smith.
COLCHESTER 0 ATHLETIC 1
CONNOR Brown struck his first-ever goal as Athletic claimed three points from the long trip to Colchester on Good Friday. Or did he?
The right-back's deflected cross, which came off Tom Eastman as it looped into the goal on the stroke of half-time, was officially credited to the former Sheffield United youngster.
It didn't appear to be on target originally, meaning it should be designated an own goal. But whatever the history books say, Athletic earned victory the hard way.
Alex Gilbey, Jabo Ibehre, Gavin Massey and Dominic Vose went close for the Us, but Athletic goalkeeper Paul Rachubka was under-worked as the visitors defended with determination in the face of plenty of second half pressure.
