Parky feeling perky

BRADFORD City appear to be on quite a roll ahead of tonight’s meeting at SportsDirect.com Park.
Phil Parkinson’s side endured a mixed season last year, with 13 matches without a win midway through their return to Sky Bet League One.
But after winning three of the last four in 2013-14 and recruiting sharply in the summer, the new season has exceeded expectations - including beating fierce rivals Leeds United in a Capital One Cup thriller last week.
“We have to be delighted with the way it’s gone up to now,” assistant manager Steve Parkin, whose team is now fifth in the table.
The 3-2 opening-day win at home against Coventry set the tone for a campaign that has so far brought five victories from seven games.
