Bantams prove a point

BRADFORD City manager Phil Parkinson felt his players proved a point when they came away from league leaders Bristol City with a point this week.
The Bantams came from behind twice against the unbeaten Robins to pick up a point.
Cristopher Routis — a one-time club-mate of Genseric Kusunga at Servette in Switzerland — struck an 85th-minute equaliser shortly after Aden Flint’s second of the game had appeared to have given Bristol City another victory.
“I was being told that this player and that one was going to play in the Premiership,” said Parkinson. “I just thought that hopefully they will be talking about a few of ours now.
“There were some really good performances and the lads are so pleased. We needed it as a squad and I know we can build on this.”
The creditable draw at Bristol City helped to stop a rot that had derailed the club after a positive start to the season. Bradford had been without a defeat away from home at Barnsley two weeks ago.
But after a run of five wins in their first seven outings the current standing of one triumph from the last seven makes for uncomfortable reading for Bantams supporters.
