Ex-Latics ace leaves Norwich

NEIL Adams has parted company with Norwich City as manager.
The 49 year old, a key member of the Athletic team which made it to the final of the League Cup in 1990, had been in charge at Carrow Road since April.
Adams, a former under-18s manager at Norwich, succeeded Chris Hughton in the hotseat. After suffering relegation from the Premier League, the Canaries are currently seventh in the Championship.
Mike Phelan takes the reins from Adams, who is to return to the club in an unspecified role in July after taking a break from the game.
