Keep focus, Johnson demands

ATHLETIC manager Lee Johnson has warned that a promising season could sink into mediocrity if the players don’t rise to the challenge of the next couple of fixtures.
Over the last 12 months the club has risen from a promising close to last season to pushing for the play-offs this season.
Needing to keep pace with the sides in the top six, Johnson says it’s vital his freshened side turns the screw at Brisbane Road tomorrow.
“We have to go there and be professional and do our jobs. We have had a good year so far and we want to make it great.
“We know we are a couple of games away from it being average again — and we don’t want that. We want to go there and show what we are about.”
