Lee’s return ‘very raw’

THAT WINNING FEELING: Lee Johnson turns to his hecklers to celebrate Barnsley’s win.
LEE Johnson admitted it was a difficult afternoon as he returned to his former club with Barnsley.
The ex-Athletic manager came in for abuse from the stands, but ended up taking away three points to Oakwell.
“It is tough coming back,” Johnson said. “It was very raw. I just had to be as professional as I could be.
“The reception was mixed, if I am being generous, and I understand why. I won't hold it against anyone. I had two fantastic years here and people don't really know the full story, but I understand that.
“It is a new club for me now, a new beginning and a great result.”
