Latics in double signing

ATHLETIC have signed Burnley duo Daniel Lafferty and Cameron Dummigan on loan.
The Chronicle this week revealed defender Lafferty as a possible target. He has signed on a one-month emergency loan. Lafferty (26) joined the Clarets in 2012 and has since made more than 40 appearances. He spent part of last season on loan at fellow Championship club Rotherham.
Dummigan (19) is a product of the Turf Moor youth system and is still waiting to make his senior competitive bow. The defender has signed a one-month youth loan deal.
Both players joined the Athletic squad that travelled to Gillingham today.
