ATHLETIC have been handed a potentially tricky tie in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.
Tony Philliskirk’s side will face the winner of the Silsden-v-Chester tie on Tuesday, with the following game at SportsDirect.com Park in the week beginning November 2.
In the Lancashire FA Youth Cup, Athletic host Wigan in the quarter-finals in a game to be played at Chapel Road on November 28.
ATHLETIC have sold around 1,350 tickets for the derby clash at Rochdale on October 24. Last season the club took 3,250 fans to Spotland and an extra 250 tickets have been allocated to Athletic this time around. The match is all ticket for home and away fans. No tickets will be available on the day.
LOAN striker Rhys Murphy aided his Crawley side’s cause by winning a penalty which led to a red card against Leyton Orient.
The Red Devils won 3-2, with Alan Dunne dismissed at the end of the first half for hauling down Murphy, with Simon Walton firing in the spot-kick.
