Dummigan stays with Latics

CAMERON Dummigan, the highly promising Burnley full-back, has signed on for a third month on loan with Athletic.

Not fit for the Sheffield United tie due to a groin problem, Athletic boss David Dunn hinted that he completed the deal anyway in order to ward off the possibility of rival clubs making a move.

“Hopefully, he will come back into the squad for Millwall,” Dunn said of the 19-year-old right back, who has so far made seven appearances for Athletic.
