ATHLETIC'S trip to Blackpool on Boxing Day is OFF.
Continued heavy rainfall has left the Bloomfield Road pitch waterlogged and a 9am inspection saw the fixture called off.
It means Athletic have a break before the home game with Doncaster Rovers at SportsDirect.com Park on Monday (3pm kick-off).
