LOAN striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway is still looking for his first goal in Athletic colours.
Amadi-Holloway says that the period between now and the end of the season is potentially career-defining. The 23-year-old striker has impressed since joining the side from Wycombe and came close to scoring a match-winner against Port Vale. He fully realises that he and current forward partner Curtis Main mustn’t let up their effort.
“Curtis and I are after the same thing,” Amadi-Holloway said. “We hadn’t been playing much for our clubs and both of us need to impress as much as we can. The next couple of months are massively important, possibly the most important in my career so far.
“There’s a lot of competition - which you can’t moan about. It’s a good thing; it keeps you on your toes.”
