Palmer recalled by Burton

MATT PALMER . . . Has been recalled by Burton.

MATT Palmer has been recalled by Burton from his loan spell with Athletic.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been excellent working under manager John Sheridan, making a total of 14 appearances for the club and scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 home win over Blackpool.

Palmer also played a key role in the 1-0 win over the Brewers' promotion rivals Walsall on Saturday.

But he was back at the Pirelli Stadium this morning, working under the charge of Nigel Clough as his parent club aim to seal promotion to the Championship.
