AFC FYLDE 1, ATHLETIC 0
ATHLETIC fell to a third straight defeat in pre-season, as Stephen Crainey's second-half free-kick separated the sides.
The first half was a tight affair, with Ollie Banks going closest with a side-footed effort after some neat link-up play down the right.
Crainey lashed home from 20 yards for the Conference North outfit in the 50th minute after Ryan Flynn's handball, leaving Chris Kettings standing in the visitors' goal.
Lee Erwin had two good efforts saved as the clock ticked down, leaving Athletic to prepare for the visit of Wigan on Tuesday.
