HOLLINWOOD residents can enjoy a royal knees up at a Party in the Park on the day of the royal wedding, April 29. The party is at Limeside Park from 11am to 3pm. Face-painting, children’s games, an assault course, DJ, bunting, decorations and more. All welcome.

JOIN in an Easter Egg hunt on Friday at Daisy Nook Country Park. Search for clues, win Easter goodies and join in an Easter craft session. The event runs from 1pm to 3pm and is run by Oldham Play Action Group. For more details call 0161-678 9662.

FAB fundraisers at Failsworth School raised £2,800 for Red Nose Day through cake sales, danceathons, sponsored silences and selling red noses. The school reopens on April 26 after the Easter break but is closed on April 29 for the royal wedding. Classes resume again on Tuesday, May 3.

MAKE new friends at the Hollinwood Friendship Club every Monday at Beulah Baptist and United Reformed Church, Withins Road, between 1.30 and 3.30pm.
