FAILSWORTH Townswomens Guild are holding an event including organ music and a drama production tonight at Failsworth Library and Lifelong Learning Centre, Oldham Road, from 7.30pm. New members and visitors welcome.
UNDER-FIVES can attend a Stories and Rhymes event with Bookstart tomorrow at Failsworth Library, Oldham Road, from 2 to 3pm.
TECHNOPHOBES can ease their fears at a Silver Surfers computer session on Friday at Canon George Hall, St Margaret’s Church, Chapel Road, Hollinwood, between 10am and noon.
SCHOOL’S out on Friday for Year 11s at Failsworth School, Brierley Avenue, before their end-of-year exams begin. Pupils will still attend for scheduled revision lessons with teachers.
YOUNGSTERS can get creative during an Art Attack event on Sunday at Daisy Nook Country Park from 1 to 3pm. Run by Oldham Play Action Group (OPAG), they will bring everything needed to paint and draw the natural wonders of nature.
LEARN all about hanging baskets with Brian Worthington on Thursday at the Oldham Garden Suburb Over-60s’ Club, The Pavilion, Green Lane, 2.30 to 4pm, in aid of the MS Society.
MAKE a date in your diary for a talk entitled A Continuing History of the Plainsmen Indian of North America by Kingsley Bray on June 2. The event takes place at Failsworth Historical Society, Broadbent Luncheon Club, Lord Lane, from 7pm. All welcome.
