A TOTAL of £4,000 was raised at this year’s Failsworth Carnival on July 16 and 17. The money will be distributed to local voluntary and community groups in November. To apply for a grant visit www.failsworthcarnival.btck.co.uk/





CHILDREN aged three to 11 can keep busy during the school break with £1 summer play sessions at The Avenues and Hollins Community Hall, First Avenue, Limeside, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 1pm to 3pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 0161-345 3466.
