CORONATION Street fans should head to Failsworth Library on Thursday for the launch of “50 Years on the Street: My Life with Ken Barlow”, a celebration of William Roache’s acting career.

LITTLE readers can wear their pyjamas to a Bedtime Stories event at Failsworth Library, Oldham Road, tomorrow, 6pm-7pm. Children aged under five are invited to enjoy a relaxing bedtime story. No need to book.



JOIN Failsworth Historical Society tomorrow for a talk about the Rochdale and Ashton canals by speaker Richard Unwin entitled “The Humane Society for the Salford Hundred” at Broadbent Luncheon Club, Lord Lane, 7pm.



DISCUSS community concerns at the Failsworth and Hollinwood Neighbourhood Policing Team meeting on Thursday at Broadbent Luncheon Club 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
