THE RSPCA mobile clinic holds a drop-in session tomorrow outside the Avenues and Hollins Community Hall, First Avenue, Limeside, from 8.30am-1.30pm, for vaccinations, flea treatments, health checks and booster treatments, at a set price.

KEEN explorers can take part in a Country Park Links walk on Sunday, from 1 to 3pm. The circular five-mile walk takes in some of the lesser-known paths between Daisy Nook Country Park and Park Bridge in Ashton. It starts at Park Bridge Heritage Centre, The Stables, Ashton.



CREATIVE types can put pen to paper at the Failsworth Library Writing group which meets on Monday, September 19, at Failsworth Town Hall, Oldham Road, 5.30 to 7pm.
