Autumn fair

BROWSE for bargains at a fundraising autumn fFair on Sunday at The Pavilion, Green Lane, Garden Suburbs, 1pm. It includes a tombola, home bake, bric-a-brac, raffle, refreshments and more. Free admission, in aid of the Parkinson’s UK Oldham Branch.
WORK started last week to resurface and widen the stretch of towpath along the Rochdale canal from Wrigley Head, in Failsworth, to Grimshaw Lane, in Chadderton. British Waterways has closed the path to pedestrians for six weeks.
