BUST a move with street dance tonight at Failsworth School, Brierley Avenue, from 5.15 to 6.15pm. Young people aged seven to 18 can attend.

MAKE Failsworth Carnival’s 50th year a special one and lend a helping hand. Volunteers can attend the Carnival Committee meeting tonight at Failsworth School, Brierley Avenue, from 7.30pm.


HEAD to Roman Road Independent Methodist Church tomorrow from 1.30 to 3.30pm. Stalls include homebake, unused gifts and bring & buy. Refreshments on sale. All proceeds to the charity Prospect which works with people with learning difficulties.

GET moving on Friday at a launch party for Limeside’s new boy and girl dance groups Urban Fury and Urban Angels at Limeside Tenants’ Hut, Blackthorn Road, at 6pm. DJs and refreshments available. Sessions will be held on Mondays from 6 to 7.30pm and Fridays from 6 to 8pm.
