Guild meeting

JOIN Failsworth Townswomen’s Guild at their latest meeting tonight at Failsworth Town Hall, Oldham Road, 7.30pm. New members and visitors are welcome to attend.
COMMUNITY issues will be under the spotlight at tonight’s Failsworth and Hollinwood District Partnership from 7pm. Visit www.oldham.gov.uk for details about the venue. All welcome.
WATCH a liturgical performance of Stations of the Cross on Friday at St Margaret’s Church, Chapel Road, Hollinwood, entitled “Born For This” from 7pm. Free admission with a retiring collection.
PUT on your dancing shoes and attend the Oldham Garden Suburb Association President’s Dance on Saturday at the Pavilion, Green Lane, at 8pm. Meet the new president, dance to live music and tuck into a buffet supper.
IT’S the last chance for Failsworth and Woodhouses residents aged 70 or over to book tickets for the Failsworth Old People’s Welfare Association annual party at the Millgate pub, Ashton Road West, on April 11 and 12. Tickets £1, which are refundable on the day, are only available until Sunday, April 1, from Lord Lane Luncheon Club and Failsworth Town Hall, Oldham Road.

LEARN about the works at Royton Hall as Doug Ashmore gives a talk on Wednesday, April 4, entitled “The Dig and History of Royton Hall” to members of Failsworth Historical Society at Broadbent Luncheon Club, Lord Lane, 7pm.
