WOODHOUSES Church will be holding an evening of festive fun next Tuesday. LOCALS are invited to deck the halls with a wreath and decoration-making session at Park Bridge. The heritage centre, off Bardsley Brew, will be hosting the event between 11am and 3pm on Sunday. Small donations will be required for materials and there is no need to book in advance.

FOOTBALL-MAD youngsters hoping to follow in the footsteps of their idols have been given some coaching with a difference. Pupils at Failsworth School have had several visits from the Manchester futsal team, as part of a four-week training session with five Manchester schools.
