FAILSWORTH Secondary School will close on Friday at the earlier time of 1.30pm, and will reopen again on Monday, January 7. Friday will be a non-uniform day, with students asked to donate £1 towards charity to wear their own clothes.

CHARITABLE students from Failsworth Secondary School raised £2,237.83 for Children In Need with a cake sale, raffle, tombola and sponsored silences. Pudsey Bear visited the school to receive the cheque.
