LEARN to pop and lock at a street-dance session tonight at Failsworth School , Brierley Avenue, 5.15 to 6.15pm. For young people aged seven to 18, all abilities welcome. Admission £3. Call 0161-770 4054.

FAILSWORTH East and West residents can meet with police and express community concerns at a meeting on Thursday at Broadbent Luncheon Club, Lord Lane, Failsworth, from 7.30 to 9pm.



TEENAGERS can tuck into Free Food Friday at Limehurst Youth Centre, Farm Road, on Friday from 5.15 to 7.45pm. Take part in workshops and activities and a hot snack or meal is available. Entry is 20p.



GRAB your walking boots for a Hike to the Pike seven-mile walk on Sunday. Meet at the John Howarth Centre in Daisy Nook Countryside park, off Stannybrook Lane, at 10.30am before walking to the famous Tameside landmark and back.
